Teen Read Week Photo Contest

As many of you know, we love photo contests!  So here's another one which we are NOT hosting.  No, we're relying on the friendly folks at YALSA and the wonderful author Jay Asher to do that for us. You could win a gift bag from Penguin Books for Young Readers which includes a signed copy of Thirteen Reasons Why and Jay Asher & Carolyn Mackler's new book The Future of Us (which sounds awesome!).It's open to anyone ages 13-18--which means I will not be entering.  But you should!

All you have to do is think of a book, take a photo that represents the book and post it on Flickr with the tag TRWcontest2011.  The librarians of YALSA have given us their sample for a particularly popular book...can you guess which one it is?

That would be The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.  Get it?  All of the games in the photo are somehow related to food or being hungry (like my childhood favorite Hungry Hungry Hippos). 

Easy, right?  Also fun!  You've got until 11:45 pm on October 31.  Go!
