I blogged about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (the movie) and then Part 2. And I thought by that point we would be done with Harry Potter, which made me cry a little bit--both on the inside and on the outside. Fortunately, JK Rowling is here to rescue us from a Potter-less future!
Tell me, how many of you have registered for Pottermore? Raise your hands high, Potter maniacs! Rest assured, I am one of you. I am proud to say that I got up early enough to get one of the coveted early registration spots for Pottermore. When will I get to see it? Who knows! The magic of Harry Potter means that the email will be a magical surprise.
For the uninitiated, you're probably wondering what Pottermore is. J.K. Rowling gives a good explanation in her video--and since she's the one behind it, I think she might know best:
If you're not feeling in the mood for video watching, here's the short version: Pottermore will have new content! More Potter! (Hence the name). More than that, it's an online reading "experience," where you'll get sorted into a house, get a wand and follow the story, some of which will be new content; including Professor McGonagall's backstory and possibly the story of how Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia met. Besides, you'll be able purchase Harry Potter ebooks & eAudio, finally!
Tell us what you're most excited about in the comments.

I'm looking forward to Professor McGonagall's backstory. And my welcome email. It seems to be taking a long time.
